my african orthodox education mission
.oOo.
- From December 2009 to May 2011, I was Director of Studies at Petros VII Catechetical Seminary of the Orthodox Archdiocese of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
- Formerly, I was Acting Dean of the seminary in Kampala, Uganda where, with the help of a number of generous friends, I began a project of supporting deserving African kids, mostly high-schoolers, to finish their high school education.
- This charitable activity in Uganda has developed into what is now known as the St
Nicholas African Education Fund, of which I am the Director; this fund is a charitable works project of my parish in America, St Nicholas Orthodox Church, in San Anselmo, California.
- Please see this flyer
for the St
Nicholas African Education Fund, or contact me directly at
to learn how you can directly
help needy Uganda kids to complete their education!
- (Download this
print version of a flyer about the Uganda kids, made for printing on 2 sides of one centerfolded 8.5x11 (landscape) sheet. Here is a
cover letter as well.)
